Executing SQL Statements

$dbh->do(“CREATE TABLE users (

uname VARCHAR(20),

address VARCHAR(30),

state CHAR(2),

zip VARCHAR(10),

phone VARCHAR(12))”);

This creates a table “users” with 5 fields:

The DBI “do” method is used to execute statements that don’t return results (INSERT, UPDATE, CREATE, etc)
