Saving Parts of a Match

• Parentheses allow you to save pieces of your match

• If the match is successful, the items in parentheses get store in $1, $2, $3, etc according to their order

$myvar =~ /System Configuration: (.*)/;

This saves everything after "System Configuration: " into $1
